After localized “knots” known as trigger points, are identified in the muscles, they are then stretched using a combination of passive and active techniques. Myofacial release is used on surrounding muscles to elongate and resolve strain patterns that initially enabled the trigger points to develop.

Deep Tissue Massage
This type of massage therapy focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. Adhesions in chronic muscle tension or injury are broken down through various techniques to relieve pain and restore normal movement.
The most common form of massage, swedish massage utilizes long, smooth strokes, kneading and other movements to relax and ease muscle pain.
A unique method of using the thumb and fingers to stimulate the more than 7,200 nerve endings in each foot. These nerve endings correspond to all parts of the body, including organs and glands. Stimulating the appropriate region is intended to eliminate energy blockages thought to produce pain or disease in the related areas.
This form of massage therapy is tailored to an expectant mother's needs. Prenatal massage, also known as Pregnancy massage, can reduce stress, decrease swelling in the arms and legs, and relieve aches and pains in muscles and joints. Not only can massage be physically beneficial, but the human touch can be comforting and emotionally supportive.
